Quiet location with stunning views. Jo and John couldn't have been more helpful and Jo is an amazing cook with a cake and wine to welcome us! Communications with John and Jos were very quick and helpful Jo helped communicate with the veterinarian to organise the return of the dogs to the UK, the reservation of restaurants and advice on markets and places to visit. The kitchen is well equipped because we ate most evenings. Feeding the chickens and collecting the eggs was a lot of fun. We didn't have good weather, but it didn't ruin our stay. We pedalled a lot in the area and went to visit the attractions for days. From the plan of the property, I was unable to settle the situation of the bathroom between the first bedroom and the bunk bedroom. It's a jack and jill bathroom. We all found the beds very comfortable. The pool is lovely and John maintains it very well and there are many things to do for big and small children at the property. We had been there for three weeks and we still didn't have time to do everything.
We are just leaving the house, the week was great and weather was really good. Thank you for this week.
Maison Bourg Calès is most definitely a five-star property. It is a beautiful property, both inside and outside, beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything you could possible need for a wonderful holiday. We also really appreciated the extra touches - the bottle of own label wine that awaited us, the basket full of towels for the pool and the store cupboard of kitchen essentials. We loved the saltwater pool. We would happily recommend it to anyone wishing to holiday in the Dordogne and looking for a well-located, high quality property.
We stayed here last summer and had such a lovely holiday in Maison Lamonzie. Fab fab fab!
I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we felt very lucky to be able to stay. We were lucky with the weather and swam every day after market trips. The house is one of the (if not the) best we have ever stayed in and we are making plans to return when we can.
I just wanted to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. It really is a little corner of paradise in a spectacular part of the world. We have been exploring, we spent the day at Abbaye de Fontfroide; followed by the Narbo Via Museum in Narbonne, finally ending up at the salt flats on the l'île Saint-Martin de Gruissan. Thank you again for the loan of your home and your many kindnesses.
Exceptional domain, I highly recommend! The rooms are very comfortable, the bedding is impeccable and the hosts are very welcoming. If you are looking to discover the Dordogne, its caves, its castles, its culinary specialties (delicious!), or if you simply want to relax in a haven of peace then Le Manoir de la Compagnie is the perfect place.

We had a wonderful October half term family holiday at Château Biarritz watching the Quicksilver and Roxy ProFrance surfing championships in Hossegor. The weather was still warm and in between the events we visited San Sebastian and loved the Old Town there with so many amazing tapas bars. At the end of the day, back at the château, it was great to curl up around the fire in the evening and plan the next days excursions.
All of us have had a lovely holiday - so relaxing! Much reading, drinking wine, lying in the sun and swimming. Absolutely perfect! We went to Carcasonne which is stunning, but it was unbelievably hot! (and the whining children not the easiest!) Thank you - It's a great house. And we echo all the above sentiments. It has been perfect week of pure relaxation - the owner is absolutely right when he says that there is no very good reason to leave the house - we managed an afternoon in the Montagne Noir - stunning views especially from Saissac. The house is perfect for all of us. A huge thank you to the owners for making it so good.
Lovely place for us to spend a week. Villa Kali is very comfortable and well equipped.
Just to let you know we all enjoyed our trip to Cagnes-sur-Mer and it was a beautiful property. Would love to go back some time.
We felt very comfortable here in this house with the beautiful garden and pool. Peacefulness, rest and relaxation - What more would you want? We particularly appreciated how attentive and helpful people were in Bessan and Agde as we needed help for our little Leah. We have greatly enjoyed our time, recovered and will definitely come back. Have had a great two weeks here in your wonderful house. Very spacious and well-appointed, tasteful and comfortable. Boys have thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We have appreciated tranquility and privacy. We have enjoyed exploring the area and sampling the local cuisine. Restaurant recommendations include Hotel-Restaurant du Château in Campagne, Auberge Médiévale Audrix and for rustic but delicious farmhouse cuisine - Auberge Rebeyrotte near Pressigirac Vicq. Well maintained property, any problems rapidly sorted. Proximity of Leclerc a real bonus for the 8 year-old fetching bread in the mornings. A real relaxing holiday for three generations and would happily revisit. For Pure France (having used other of their properties) we would rate it 5 / 5.
We cannot think of a more wonderful house and beautiful location for a superb holiday. You have been the most perfect hosts. We have loved our early morning walks in the countryside - the perfect backdrop for our engagement.
I stayed here what a beautiful place. They made you feel so welcome and nothing was too much. The self catering was spotless with top appliances and the beds wow it was like sleeping on air you just did not want to get up in the morning. Lovely grounds are very scenic and peaceful and the sounds of birds every day are all different kinds of birds. Great place for bird watchers. Dordogne has the most beautiful historic places to visit and Beauchamp Self catering is a perfect base to be in.
Very good stay with Eva for a week at the end of August. The house is very nice, spacious, with all the necessary comfort (several bathrooms in particular). With the studio, we were able to spend holidays with four couples and children. The outside, with pool, barbeque and plancha is perfect for a great stay. A ping-pong table is also available. Eva is very attentive and communication was perfect during this week. She will be able to give you ideas for walks or help you if necessary. I recommend.
We have just completed our yoga week here at your enchanting château. What a wonderfully relaxing and inspiring environment - thank you for letting us enjoy this experience.
Beautifully renovated Villa. Well equipped kitchen, large pool and lots of ensuite bedrooms. Has everything to keep you entertained whether it’s full sunshine or rain. The owners were super helpful and always a text away if we needed anything. Small town nearby and a big supermarket 5 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay again in the future!

We’ve had a wonderful week and enjoyed the house, particularly the pool. Everything we’ve needed has been here. The steam oven cooks vegetables magnificently. Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Le Camelia. Would love to come again.
