For those travelling from outside Europe, you will find major international airports in Paris, Nice, Toulouse and Bordeaux with good public transport links from these airports for onward travel.

From the UK, flying is often the cheapest and most convenient option for travelling to France, with numerous local airports on both sides of the channel. You will be able to find an airport in France within easy reach of all of our villa holiday locations with flights from airports in England, Ireland, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

The following airlines fly from the UK directly to France;

Budget airline Ryanair fly to France from local airports all over the UK and Ireland with major hubs at London Stansted and Dublin.

Another budget airline with more frequent flights covering the whole of the UK to France, Easyjet have major hubs at London Gatwick and Manchester.

Flybe serve 17 airports in France, with the major hub in the South of England being Southampton, Manchester in the North of England, Dublin in Ireland and Edinburgh in Scotland.

British Airways fly to France from London airports only - Heathrow, Gatwick, London City and Stansted.

Another option when flying from Ireland is Aer Lingus, who fly from Dublin directly to 11 different airports in France, from North West France to the South Coast and the Alps.

Another option for flights from London to France is Cityjet who fly from London City to Avignon in Provence and Toulon on the Côte d'Azur.

Travel to France by rail

Travelling to France by rail can be a relaxing and enjoyable way to travel. You can get a train directly from London to Paris or Provence and then connect with one of the many high speed trains to the local station near your French holiday destination.

The Eurostar train links London to Paris, Calais and Lille in the North of France, Avignon in the South of France and the French Alps in the winter months

SNCF runs high speed trains to local stations in every region of France. Car hire is available for onward travel or a taxi directly to your holiday rental property.
