Holiday villa with private heated pool, Villa Azure.

We spent a fantastic week at Villa Azure in September, as a family group of three couples. I agree with all the favourable comments about this property: the villa has an amazing amount of space; the location is quiet, but an easy walk to a good supermarket; the train station is conveniently close and made trips to Nice and Monaco really easy without a car. The walk up to Haut de Cagnes was steep but very worthwhile!
The kitchen is extremely well equipped for enjoyable cooking followed by eating out on the terrace. The villa is immaculately maintained and we loved the heated pool.
Jean Luc is a great host – very welcoming and happy to assist with any queries.

We spent a fantastic fortnight at Villa Azure in June 2023. The property was immaculate and made us feel instantly at home.

Our party was made up of three couples and a baby but the Villa is so large that each couple had their own floor with one room left unused. Each air-conditioned bedroom had access to a bathroom and dressing area.

The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking and preparing drinks and nibbles . We also made use of the Weber gas BBQ.

We have never had a heated pool in France before; we used it every day and relaxed on the three secluded terraces.

We have visited Cros De Cagnes many times and can recommend the area for holiday makers who do not wish to hire a car. The Villa is set in a quiet residential area but is only a 15 minute walk down to the beachfront with its bars and restaurants. There is a nearby supermarche and several boulangeries within a short walk. You can easily access the train or bus for trips into Nice or beyond.

The owner Jean Luc was extremely hospitable and took the time to walk us through all aspects of the Villa. He made it clear we could contact him if the slightest problem arose. We would highly recommend Villa Azure and hope to return in the future.

We were greeted by the very pleasant owner, Jean Luc, who was a wonderful host and provided lots of information on the villa itself and surrounding areas. Villa Azure is a private gated property situated in a quiet residential area. The location is uphill, from the beachfront; and there are several good supermarkets with fresh produce nearby. The local train station is a short walk away which is great for exploring the nearby sights of Nice, Antibes and Monaco.
The villa is very comfortable and spacious, with plenty of different spaces inside and outside for the family to relax either together or in smaller groups. It is well maintained, clean and well furnished. It has a great modern kitchen which is well equipped. Ice on tap and air conditioning in all the bedrooms too. The Wi-Fi for the teens was perfect and the UK TV was a nice surprise.

I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at the villa. It was immaculate and is perfectly positioned to access to supermarket, patisserie, beaches and numerous quality restaurants and a short walk to the train station - which we used most days to visit other coastal resorts.
The villa was considerably larger than we expected and was well equipped for our stay. The quiet residential location was a bonus after having busy days out.
All in all a perfect property.

We have just returned from a very successful holiday in Villa Azure. We were seven (incl two children) in week one and two for most of week two. We were certainly comfortable. The villa is situated in a quiet residential road, so no problems with early morning noise! It is about eight minutes walk from an excellent patisserie for buying croissants etc for breakfast, with an excellent fruit shop opposite. A supermarket is a little further, but easily reached. The beach is about 12 minutes walk. Access to other locations is simple via Cagnes station, (eg Nice or Cannes) and there is a free bus to Cagnes en Haut which is well worth a visit. The property is excellently maintained, the kitchen equipment first class and well thought out. There is a splendid terrace overlooking the pool, with an awning over the dining table which seated us all comfortably. In the evening, the small garden has under lighters under the trees and at midnight, sprays raise up from the grass to water it. The garden, though small, is well maintained, with hedges all round making it very private. We had a most enjoyable, memorable holiday.

The villa is a very comfortable, spacious house. Furniture and fitments are of an excellent standard. Each bedroom has its own shower / bathroom and toilet plus its own sitting space / retreat. A great advantage for a large family, group of friends, two families sharing the accommodation. The outside area is very pleasant and private. Plenty of space for sitting out and relaxing. The location of the villa is ideal for visiting places along the Côte d'Azur. Public transport is within walking distance of the villa, as are shops for one's daily needs. The owners are friendly and helpful.

The villa was a great place to stay. We have been renting villas for nearly 20 years now and this is the first time ever that we didn't use a car. So near the airport, so near shops, restaurants, the sea, the train station for days out to Nice and Antibes. And the villa itself was lovely - it was more spacious than we expected. Moreover at 30 degrees the pool was marvellous. Only complaint - a week was too short!

The villa proved to be the perfect home for the week, as it ticked so many boxes:-
A friendly villa owner who spoke good English, a ten minute stroll to the beach and restaurants, five minute walk to Cros de Cagnes station where you can take the local train to Cannes in 24 minutes and Nice in 15 minutes - so no need to have the hassle of car hire, a well stocked supermarket a 10 minute walk away, within walking distance of the free bus up to the beautiful hilltop village of Haut de Cagnes. A clean, well furnished villa, with every room having individual controls for the air conditioning settings... lovely when you come in from a hot day out! Ice on tap from the huge fridge and a swimming pool at just the right temperature - day and night.

We stayed in the the villa in Cagnes-sur-Mer and I just wanted to say what a superb holiday we had. The villa was absolutely perfect with everything we could possibly need. It's ideally situated if you do not want to have a car as shops, restaurants, beaches, train station are only 5-10 minutes walk away. We would certainly recommend this villa.

We rented the villa with 2 other couples and all had a fabulous time. The Eyermanns were wonderful hosts and provided us with a wonderful home base for a travels to Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Antibes for day trips on short drives. We took walks to the sea every day and the 3 bakeries and food store plus many resturants are only minutes away. We made use of the heated pool every day and can honestly say we never ate a meal indoors. The weather was fabulous. This was an unbelievable vacation we will always remember!
