Fantastic house and pool in beautiful rural area! Super local produce (wine, cheese/butter etc). We had a fantastic week and would well recommend for future visits. Lovely pool - big. Great dining area for eating. Excellent view. Thanks for everything.
We would like to thank you both for a wonderful stay in your beautiful house. Everything we could have asked for was there. A holiday we won't forget.
The views from the outside dining area are amazing, from Mt Ventoux in the east to Les Dentelles in the West and looking down the hill to the medieval old town of Vaison. We love the walk to Villedieu with lunch in the village square. A short drive away to Gigondas and Les Dentelles opens up some great walks. Another favourites are the markets in Vaison and Bedoin, the later market was followed by a drive up Mt Ventoux. The house is finished to a high level and very comfortable and well equipped, we enjoyed our time here very much.

We had a lovely time in a beautifully converted villa. So much space for relaxing and the kids to roam free at the table tennis out building or down by the pool. I have stayed here with friends on several occasions and the tranquility and serenity is something to treasure. Maison Bourriette and gardens are furnished to the highest standard with a special courtyard enclosed in the original barn walls. The pool and surroundings cater for the most ardent sunbather or swimmer. The welcome you receive is personal and nothing is too much trouble, thus ensuring your best possible stay. From the house you are near to many interesting attractions dotted around the rolling countryside but if you don't want to leave the sanctuary of the house, then there are numerous delightful walks on the doorstep taking you through woods to small settlements or even into Montaigu for quality food and drink. I cannot wait to go back again!

A wonderful 2 weeks for 8 adults and 7 grandchildren in a most beautiful château. Extremely well looked after by Robert and his team.
This place is fantastic, so much space to explore. the house is very clean and the rooms are big. Château Charente has everything you need. Storage for clothes, fans to keep you cool and big clean beds. The kitchen is very clean and has a big fridge and freezer. Utensils, pots and pans. The oven is top of the range. The owner was very helpful and not intrusive and very friendly. I had a fantastic time here and definitely come again. I would recommend Château Charente to anyone who wants to visit.
I loved the house. It was perfect for children and the scenery is gorgeous.
We rented the villa with 2 other couples and all had a fabulous time. The Eyermanns were wonderful hosts and provided us with a wonderful home base for a travels to Nice, Cannes, Monte Carlo and Antibes for day trips on short drives. We took walks to the sea every day and the 3 bakeries and food store plus many resturants are only minutes away. We made use of the heated pool every day and can honestly say we never ate a meal indoors. The weather was fabulous. This was an unbelievable vacation we will always remember!
A perfect oasis of French charm. We really couldn't have asked for anything better! The house and gardens have transported us to paradise for the week! Certainly a holiday we will never forget. The girls have loved everything about their room and wish they could take it back home! We really feel we will have the holiday blues, for sure, returning from this trip. We very much enjoyed our stay with Anna and Michael. The house is conveniently situated in a small hamlet, close to the beautiful town of Monflanquin. Our kids loved the pool and the variety of toys to play with. We absolutely recommend this accommodation.
It has been amazing seeing so many of our family enjoying being here in your beautiful château. All able to have fun together - it really is a wonderful place.
The apartment has amazing views and the balcony is such a lovely place to sit and relax whilst looking out to sea. It's so spacious and also has a dining table for al fresco meals. A huge supermarket is literally opposite the apartment. It's easy to get a train to the big resorts - Monte Carlo, Cannes and Nice. Trains are quick and if you nip upstairs you get fabulous views of the coast! We also recommend 'booking bikies' located at the marina. It's so easy to cycle around with dedicated cycle lanes along the whole coast. We cycled into Antibes twice, a lovely town and well worth a visit. The ride is completely flat and takes about 25 minutes. Great for an early morning run too! Along the seafront there are numerous restaurants and places to enjoy a drink.

An exceptional setting. On a business trip for 3 days, I discovered very pleasant accommodation and two magnificent people. Thanks again to David and Kirstie for their welcome and kindness. I will not fail to recommend this pretty and pleasant house whether for a business trip or to come and rest with the family.
Very beautiful property: authentic Provencal farmhouse. All the comforts in the house, very well equipped with very large space. Very pleasant shaded terrace. very well maintained garden. Large swimming pool ideal for swimming or games and very well sheltered from the Mistral.
Wow, what a totally wonderful stay! The house has everything you could ever need. It is secluded and quiet , yet so close to everywhere. We even had a dip in the pool!!! We had a lovely walk around Beynac and had a delicious lunch there at Hotel Du Chateau. The local wine shop kept us well supplied-we had lots of the incredible cheese. Thank you so much for everything, we really hope to come back soon!
We have been renting French holiday villas for many of the last ten years. Maison Piscenoise in Pezenas was the best so far, a beautifully decorated and well-maintained house, with superb swimming pool and many amenities nearby. The house was fantastically well-equipped, from the kitchen to the games area and the garden with its pleasant tree shade and gas barbecue. We loved walking into the town centre, which was only 5-10 minutes' stroll away and where there was a great variety of shops and excellent restaurants and a great Saturday market. It was also easy to get to a range of child-friendly beaches in a short drive. We were a multi-generational party- children aged from 7 upwards, to grandparents in their 70s all loved it. We do hope to be able to visit again and thank you to our kind hosts Fleur and Richard.
We had an amazing family holiday in the house, brilliantly equipped for all ages. Mel was great both before and after the holiday. The pool was lovely and warm with lots of inflatables, sun loungers etc. Would love to go back.
We recently stayed for two weeks at this beautiful house and were overwhelmed by its beauty and setting. The house is spacious and extremely well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic relaxing break. A lot of care and thought has gone into the decor and furnishings giving a real homely feel. Fresh flowers in the rooms added to the warmth of our welcome by Frederic, the house manager and Elisabeth and Marian had ensured that everything was immaculate. The town of Duras is close by and we enjoyed the Monday morning markets as well as trips to Bordeaux (by train from Marmande), St Emilion and the wonderful Château de Fayolle where we had an amazing lunch, vineyard tour and wine tasting. This is a beautiful part of France where we have made many happy memories and hope to return one day. Our thanks to the team at Maison Baleyssagues for making our visit so special. Worthy of mention is local driver Mark Pope who provided transport for us during our trip. He needs to be pre- booked but will get you where you need to go if you don't want to drive!
Eva was extremely helpful and gave us great dinner recommendations. The house is perfect for a relaxing vacation, a beautiful swimming pool and an incredible interior. Ideal place to reside, we highly recommend it.
Great house in a great location. Enjoyed by all ages 9 to 70 years. Something for everybody. Kids and adults wowed with the pool.
We have had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We appreciate how clean it was when we arrived (thanks Yvonne) and the wine. We love the decor and period furnishings. The pool and small barn were great. It was interesting to hear about the history and previous occupants of the house from Bob and Margaret, the English neighbours across the road. Thanks. We hope to return one day.
