Their wines, fine and harmonious, reveal all the complexity of the limestone terroirs of the Montagne Noire subject to Atlantic and Mediterranean influences. A land of meeting and blending, the wines find their balance in the wide variety of grape varieties used. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, combine to deliver deep and gourmet wines, capable of revealing the grandeur of the southern terroirs.
Domaine de la Rochelière in Fitou
Emilie and Jean-Marie are winegrowers in Fitou and are the fourth generation of a 15-hectare estate located in the cradle village of the appellation.
This picturesque little village is located between the Corbières and the Mediterranean where the sun and the north wind reign supreme.
The vineyard has been worked since 1979 without chemical inputs according to the "Cousinié" method, which enhances the work of the winegrower towards its qualitative objectives, the primary requirement of the consumer while fully preserving the living and the environment.
