The Bathers by Paul Cezanne

Françoise Dorléac

Everyone knows Catherine Deneuve, the icon of French and international cinema. But less is known about her sister, Françoise Dorléac. Françoise was actually the first of the two sisters to become a star - she first modelled for Chritian Dior and then made a number of films before her tragic death in 1967.

Cannes Underwater Museum

A remarkable underwater museum has just opened in Cannes. It features a series of six monumental three-dimensional portraits, each over two meters in height and ten tons in weight, placed at a depth of between two and three metres. The installation is located just off the island of Sainte-Margueritte. Sainte-Margueritte is part of the Lérins Islands a group of four islands just off the coast of Cannes.
