Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Try the Garbure, a local hotpot speciality, in one of the local inns or restaurants.

Pyrénées national park is famous for its extraordinary landscape, superb lakes and fauna. You must discover some of the 70 lakes of The Natural Reserve of Néouvielle (alt. 1,800m - 3,091m), Aubert and Aumar lakes are the largest.

Génos and Loudenvielle (24 km / 27 minutes drive) are two pittoresque villages separated by a lake. You can even visit the 13th Century castle and tower of Génos offering a great panoramic view on the lake and the surrounding mountains, you can even see the Pic du Midi! There is also an Aquaparc available for children and a lovely chapel halfway if you walk around the lake. Loudenvielle has a great spa centre.

12th Century Château de Tramezaïgues, 10 minutes drive, is a listed historic monument restored in 1990.

Aragnouet and its tunnel at the Spanish border are only 17 minutes drive away and offer a spectacular view on the pass leading to the Barossa Valley in Spain and the region of Aragon.

Learn more about eagles, falcons and owls in Aure, 15 minutes drive.

Peyresourde pass (with café-creperie) only 30 minutes drive away.

Pic du Midi with its famous observatory and restaurant is only 1 hour 25 min drive.

Cirque de Gavarnie is a must-see if you are in the Pyrénées, 2 hours 15 min drive.

Tarbes is the capital of Bigorre region and in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Visit the centre of Tarbes, its Massey museum and botanical garden with renovated cloister, its cathedral and National stud farm, 1 hour 10 minutes drive.

The pilgrimage village of Lourdes (basilica and grotto), 1 hour 16 minutes drive.

Pau with all amenities, shops, parks, cafés-bar-tapas and hypermarkets, 1 hour 30 minutes drive.

Boulevard des Pyrénées ("La Promenade") and the castle offer panoramic views on the Pyrénées mountains.

Animal Park of the Pyrénées in Argelès-Gazost, 1 hour 25 minutes drive.

Lourdes-Tarbes Airport is only 1 hour drive (flights from/to London Stansted and Dublin).

Toulouse airport is 1 hour 45 minutes drive.

Biarritz airport (London, Dublin and Edinburgh), 2 hours 18 minutes.

Everything is fantastic, the chalet is even better than in the photos and we notice the affection we gave it in the smallest details.

A great stay. The chalet is 2 steps from the centre of St Lary!
Patrice's welcome and all his good plans allowed us to discover the place in the best conditions.The jacuzzi terrace, the games room and the gym also allow you to spend a great holiday at home for those who do not like hiking or skiing. I recommend winter as well as summer!

The chalet is ideally located and close to all amenities and activities. We loved the warm welcome, the good advice on the Valley and the places not to be missed. The chalet is a haven of peace, perfectly equipped and intelligently arranged to spend relaxing moments with the family. From young to old, we sincerely enjoyed ourselves and everyone found their happiness. We also appreciated the attention that was given to us on our arrival and with which we feasted.
