Winter Olmpics 2023
From February 4th to 20th, 2023, the Winter Olympics will take place in Beijing. The 190 events of the seven Olympic Winter sports wwill be spread over three competition areas: the Beijing Center, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou. Three competition areas with four events on snow as well as events on ice.
These Winter Games are held at three main sites: Beijing, where the facilities from the 2008 Summer Games are reused for most ice sports, but where the Big Air ski jump is also located. Yanqing 90 km from the capital for alpine skiing and the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton track, and Zhangjiakou, 190 km, for freestyle skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined. Freestyle skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, ice hockey, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, figure skating, speed skating... Find all the disciplines. This is the second time that a Chinese city has organized the Olympic Games after the 2008 Summer Games already celebrated in Beijing, which thus becomes the first city in history to host both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games.
