The prettiest châteaux in Nouvelle-Aquitaine

Nouvelle Aquitaine located in the south-zest of France is a paradise for lovers of heritage and history. Here you will find lush green valleys, winding rivers, as well as medieval fortresses, Renaissance castles and aristocratic residences that bear witness to a rich history of the region.

The Château de Montal - Saint-Jean-Lespinasse

Built in the 16th century by Jeanne de Balsac, it is distinguished by its elegant architecture and its very fine artistic details. Originally, it was erected as a tribute to his deceased son, and it perfectly reflects the spirit of the Renaissance with its refined sculptures and architectural harmony.

Les Tours de Merle - Saint-Geniez-ô-Merle in Corrèze

A fascinating and unique medieval site, perched on a rocky outcrop, this group of towers and fortresses dating from the 12th to 15th centuries dominates the Maronne valley.
