The Madrague beach at Saint-Cyr-Sur-Mer
Discover Madrague beach in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. The Madrague takes its name from a “fixed fishing device for catching tuna, made up of nets and stakes in which the fish are led to an enclosure where they are caught by raising a net which forms the bottom."
It is located next to the port of La Madrague, the path which leads there offers a breathtaking view of the bay. At the foot of the beach, a wooden pedestrian path leads to Brameou cove.
The beach has a play area for toddlers and several water activities are offered.
On the way you can admire the Estelle statue by Peter Ball, an eternal dreamer in front of the beauty of the bay.
Arriving by sea? The port of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer - La Madrague offers a visitors area with 40 places available. The port is reserved for boats less than 8 m. The maximum draft is 1.4 m.
