The lantern festival in Montauban
From December 1st to February 5th, 2023 the town of Montauban hosts the Lantern Festival in the heart of the city's parks. This event has already had phenomenal success in previous years in the city of Gaillac from 2017 to 2020.

It is an unmissable event in winter, this festival has seduced young and old alike. You will find lanterns, walks in the aisles with magnificent illuminations that represent the jewels of traditional Chinese culture from the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

The Lantern Festival relies on the traditional know-how of Zigong (People's Republic of China), Prefecture City of Provence Sichuan with nearly 3 million inhabitants.
The Chinese festival has been adopted in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
