Jaume Plensa exhibition at Museum Of Modern Art In Ceret
The modern art museum of Céret reopened its doors in March 2022 after expansion works.
The museum is located in the heart of the village, among the cafes and restaurants.
Céret is a charming village with beautiful historic buildings, plane trees, the atmospheric scent of the south of France. Picasso, Matisse or Chagall all have stayed there.
Until June 6, you can admire the temporary exhibition by Jaume Plensa. Sublime and incredible.
Artist born in 1955 in Barcelona, he studied at the Llotja School of Art and Design and at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts. Since 1980, the year of his first exhibition in Barcelona, he has lived and worked in Berlin, Brussels, England, France and the United States. Jaume Plensa currently resides and works in Barcelona.
He was a professor at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and regularly cooperates with the School of the Art Institute in Chicago as a visiting professor. He has also given numerous lectures and courses at other universities, museums and cultural institutions around the world.

The visit to the museum continues with rooms dedicated to contemporary art and modern art. You can works by Picasso, Dali, Chagall, Matisse, Marchand and many others.
