Holidays in Provence

Provence rhythms with holidays... the olive trees, the lavender fields, the songs of cicadas, the markets, the beaches... idleness. Provence is also about pretty villages, farmers' markets, walks in the scrubland, visits to the magical creeks of Marseille, holidays with family or friends. What to do on holiday in Provence?

Visit the Colorado Provencal

Magnificent breathtaking landscapes, a walking route from the Ocher trail to Rustrel. You will discover a red rock like in a western.

Discover the lavender fields as far as the eye can see

Let yourself be carried away by the scent of the lavender fields. Lavender is used for its many therapeutic virtues.

Nicknamed "blue gold", it is aptly named because it is not easily cultivated and its flowering is short (between June and July). Visit the Valensole plateau and Sénanque abbey to learn more about lavender and visit one of the artisanal distilleries.

Discover the sumptuous villages

You will discover the history of the picturesque and authentic villages and you can stroll in the pretty streets of Gordes and Roussillon. Among these beautiful villages are "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France", such as Lourmarin.

Hike through beautiful landscapes

Provence is rich in diversity of landscapes which open the field of possibilities in terms of hikes and walks. In the forests of pines and cedars, in the gorges, natural park of Lubéron or on the beach, you can choose many hikes and walking routes.

The Toulourenc Gorges

A stroll along the water in the Gorges du Toulourenc. Put on old shoes and bring your bathing suit to fully enjoy the coolness of the canyon dug into the limestone rock.

Conquering the laces of Montmirail

Mountain range of the Vaucluse mountains and recognizable by the architecture of their rocky peaks. Climbing enthusiasts will be delighted with 650 climbing routes, with routes for all tastes and all levels. An exceptional panorama over the famous vineyards of Gigondas and Baumes-de-Venise. All major tourist offices in the region can provide contact details for qualified instructors.
