Events in the Loire, season 2024

The Loire offers for the summer of 2024 a variety of exciting events for all tastes. Here is a selection of the main events not to be missed.

Passage of the Olympic Flame - July 8, 2024

The Olympic flame will be passing through the Loir before the July events. It will cross several emblematic cities of the Loir-et-Cher, including Vendôme, Romorantin, and Blois, creating a festive and sporting atmosphere unique in the region.

Japan tour festival - end of June

From June 28 to 30, 2024, this festival is the largest dedicated to Japanese culture in the Centre-Val de Loire region, to be held in Tours. It includes cosplay competitions, exhibitions, and stands on Japanese culture and arts.

Night in Sologne

On September 7, 2024, in Lamotte-Beuvron, this grandiose pyrotechnic show will combine fireworks and music for a magical evening under the stars.

For 20 years now, the Nuits de Sologne association has been offering you unpublished pyrotechnic shows in the heart of Sologne, a team of pyrotechnic enthusiasts has been making original shows in this region.

These women and men have decided to share an exceptional moment with you.

Chaumont-sur-Loire Garden Festival

This festival, which takes place until November 3, 2024, is an unmissable event for garden and nature lovers. The artistic creations in the gardens of the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire are a real treat for the eyes.

It is an emblematic event of the Domaine, the International Garden Festival is an essential international event, dedicated to creation, imagination, poetry and nature.

The Medieval Festival of Guérande
