Discover Leucate
Today we are taking you to the Aude in Occitanie / Languedoc to discover the Mediterranean town of Leucate. A seaside resort located in the Pyrénées-Orientales. This resort is full of wonderful little places to discover during your stay in Leucate.
1) Leucate pontoon
Le Ponton de Leucate is accessible from Port Leucate beach. You'll feel like you're walking on water!
2) The beaches of Leucate
Leucate Beach: Tourist beach in the heart of holiday homes. It is a supervised beach with lifeguard stations.
The Beach: Below the Leucate cliff is a small cove that is difficult to access but really worth the detour. Be careful, bring good shoes because the descent is perilous! It is advisable to go there in June/September to make the most of it. A moment of calm and serenity awaits you.
3) The Cap Leucate cliff
Enjoy a walk on the Sentier du Guetteur, with a breathtaking views of the Mediterranean.
4) Leucate village
Stop in the village to stroll through the colourful alleys, enjoy the shops and restaurants. You will also find a market with fresh products on Tuesdays and Saturdays - 8 am to 1 pm. Republic Square and Church Street.
