Archaeological discovery
In 1976, the archaeologists Gilles SERAPHIN and Daniel FRUGIER, as well as Michel EGRETAUD discovered under the Barbican far from the dwellings but within the enclosure a room with very important archaeological furniture. This discovery associated with the discovery a few years earlier, by the same people, of a set of graffiti on the internal walls of the Grosse Tour, reminds us that Bonaguil was indeed a living residence.
It was revealed common clay pottery for eating, drinking, stove, glazing elements and knives.
