Cerbère - an art deco seaside town with hidden coves

Cerbère is a small fishing village preserved from large-scale tourism. It is a lively village in all seasons. Cerbère station is the terminus before the Spanish border. An unusual building in the shape of a boat is a must: the Belvédère du Rayon vert aparthotel. Built in the 1930s, Orson Welles, Michèle Morgan, Gina Llolobrigida, Bourvil or Francis Blanche stayed there. From the terrace of the apartments you may be able to observe the famous green ray, which recalls the film by Eric Rohmer.
