  1. NIKI DE SAINT-PHALLE. THE 1980s AND 1990s: ART IN FREEDOM

Always committed to minorities and those ostracized from society, the artist who had developed an early and sustained feminist conviction, both deeply contemporary and avant-garde, continues to take positions with the same humanism. Her struggles include those with AIDS patients, of which she is an early supporter, the black cause, as well as global warming. Her public positions go through the writing of the book in which she reveals her father's incest, inviting, almost on her own, to also reread part of his work. Freedom of speech accompanies many of his works in particular by an increasingly important place for words and a characteristic calligraphy, whether in prints, posters, artist's books but also in the important work of writing. which marks his last years.
This commitment to herself, others and her art is done from the angle of freedom, inclusion and joy.

3. MONOGRAM

Most of the paintings I have done have integrated my curiosity for signs – whether it is the cross or the frame, or more baroque. Rosalind Nashahibi became interested in the monogram, these emblems both recognizable and enigmatic which bring together several letters in a single design. The monogram can represent a person, an entity or a group, even a signature. They also have a dimension that is magical. For Nashashibi, a monogram is a distilled unit of identity that holds its own mythos or glamour, and a sign is a concentration of power and meaning, a concentration of power and meaning.

4. MOMIES

This exhibition focuses on the conservation of bodies, whether human or animal.

She also looks at contemporary conservation techniques and raises ethical and deontological questions related to the conservation of human remains. The choice of the Museum is therefore far from trivial. Programming an exhibition on mummies means questioning humanity about its relationship to time, the search for eternity and death.

5. AT TABLE! FOOD PRACTICES AND TABLE MANNERS FROM THE END OF THE BRONZE AGE TO THE 19TH CENTURY

It is a broad period that is considered, but "comparative history and ethnology show that, in ancient or contemporary pre-industrial societies, behaviors that revolve around food and the table persist for a long time despite the radical changes that have taken place in social life.
