Additional guests 60€ per night per person.
Heating 80€ per day if required.

Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

The property is situated in open countryside between Lencloitre (6 minutes) and Richelieu (18 minutes). Poitiers 35 minutes and Saumur 55 minutes.

Lencloitre with 3 bakeries, 2 restaurants, 4 takeaways, 4 café bars, 2 supermarkets, 1 butcher, 1 chemist, bank, post office, medical centre and dentist.

Further amenities, including excellent restaurants in the pretty, walled town of Richelieu.

We were four related families of eight adults and 8 children aged 3-7. The palatial exterior of Chateau de La Blaine belies the comfort and homeliness of its interior which boasts some of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. The shuttered windows and the judicious repositioning of a vase or two made it easy to child-proof the rooms. The magnificent parkland of trees, lawns and flower-beds offers a short-walk to a fully enclosed and secure open-air swimming pool, which was a particular highlight. The views across the surrounding countryside are simply stunning. We particularly valued the extensive space, the quiet and the privacy. Gaelle was extremely helpful in dealing with any queries and we are grateful to her and her family for sharing their home with a large group of complete strangers.

What a truly wonderful place!! Although the photos show a beautiful place, they do not do justice to the reality, which was perfection.
The chateau, its grounds and the location are all outstanding and so big! Lots of walks and places to explore.
Gaelle, the host, was there if we needed, answering emails very quickly and offering help and recommendations .
We were a party of 15 with ages from 3 to 73. Everyone felt comfortable and well catered for.
A perfect holiday!

We rented Château Savigny for the Pentecost weekend with 5 families.
The castle has 5 large bedrooms with annexes for children who are very appreciated.
Downstairs, the living and the kitchen are very large.
The estate is gigantic and stunning.
We were hosted very well and the host was always available.
Lots of play for the kids available.
Finally the pool not even heated was a real treat for 3 days for the children.
I recommend the estate to everyone, you will have an extraordinary stay.

The chteau is beautiful. Great house for our group of 10 adults and 8 children. lots of room for all of us to be comfortable. Amazing pool and lovely grounds. Kitchen is well equipped.. It is an old property and is well lived in but that isn’t a problem.
