The property is situated in open countryside, off a small, private lane, 3 km from the local wine château.

Brignoles, 14 km has all amenities including large supermarket, bakeries, café bars and restaurants.

Wine-tasting at the château is included in the rental.

Mediterranean beaches and all water-sports at Hyères, 70 minutes.

Aix-en-Provence 1 hour, Cannes 90 minutes.

On our bucket list we wrote a holiday with the whole family consisting of 13 people. We chose to stay at the Bastide which appeared a perfect choice. We had the space we needed, plenty of rooms, bathrooms and toilets.
Equipment of the villa was complete. We had a few issues but Thomas, our host solved everything asap. As kids, teenagers and adults we all enjoyed the stay as we had plenty of possibilities next to the outstanding pool of the house. Hiking in the environment, fishing in the lake nearby, pool table, soccer table, table tennis. And of course we used the BBQs a lot while enjoying the wonderful wines of the domaine. Thank you Thomas for your effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended as a valuable investment in an unforgettable holiday.

If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay in Provence, we highly recommend this estate (La Bastide and Trois Maisons de Valsegure) for 8 days to accommodate 35 people for our wedding. We had planned activities throughout the week: hiking, yoga, visiting the butterfly garden without forgetting a visit to a cellar. Our group loved it! We organized the welcome reception, the wedding ceremony, the wedding lunch, dinner and the post brunch at various locations in the Bastide. It was so magical that we thought we were in a dream. The property still has a few things to improve for event planning and long stays but Thomas was welcoming and once there everything was perfect. The wine is also delicious. We love their 10 Euro rosé and drank cases of it during our stay. Their white wines are also very, very good. Their wine is delicious and hard to find in the United States! Overall, I highly recommend staying here. It will clear your mind as you are surrounded by nature, wildlife and vineyards that stretch endlessly. We enjoyed hiking right next to the property every morning. For a city break, you are 45 minutes from the coast, 40 minutes from old Hyères, which is our favorite Provençal town and 10 minutes from a Michelin star restaurant in La Celle. We highly recommend. Their olive oil is also delicious!

Everything was amazing at La Bastide 1718. We had to travel to the area for work, which was made especially difficult during the pandemic and lockdown. However, the villa and host, Thomas, made our trip as enjoyable as it could be within the circumstances. Thomas the host was always on hand for anything! Very professional, kind and thoughtful. Honestly one of the best hosts I have ever had! The villa is incredible. Each bedroom is up to a hotel standard; from the bedding, aircon and heating, TVs, bathrooms and styling (even a lift!). The kitchen and facilities are very well maintained and equipped, with anything you could possibly need! We spent every evening in the dining and living room with the fire burning, which was a great setting for the team to relax. There are so many facilities and things to do in the Villa, you would never get bored during your stay! The location is stunning and well worth the long driveway to get such seclusion and stunning views. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout the villa which I don't want to give away. Each of them made our stay even more relaxing and memorable. Thank you again to Thomas and the team behind La Bastide!

The rental of La Bastide 1718 within the domain surrounded by hills is exceptional and provides a rare quietness.

The layout of the residence allows for very pleasant and relaxed family gatherings for about 15 people; the layout of the bathrooms is perfect.

The swimming pool and pool house is of ample size; this facility is completed by a gym and a sauna.

The design of the kitchen makes it easy to provide daily meals for about 15 people (2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators). The laundry room allows for efficient laundry management.

Two barbecues and the pool house kitchen make it easy to arrange meals with guests.

The house management runs smoothly thanks to the maid service and the discreet but efficient watch of the site manager and his staff (the swimming pool is maintained during the night for example).

In conclusion, an exceptional rental which justifies its price.
