We have been staying in gites and villas in France for many, many years and Mas des Rivailles is one of the best. Very clean, comfortable with everything in place for a lovely relaxing holiday. The pool was great but didn't get used as much as we would have liked due to the inclement weather we experienced for the two weeks we were there.
The welcome pack was an unexpected surprise and much appreciated. Frédéric was helpful and informative as were our friendly neighbours (no English spoken) but it gave us a chance to practice our limited French. Lovely little villages to visit and good restaurants, Clement in Lauzun was a favourite. Fully recommend this property.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Mas des Rivailles.
The property is located along a quiet lane and for the majority of the time all you could hear were the birds singing.
We have stayed in the local area previously but there were still places we wanted to visit. However we were lucky to have superb weather and we decided to stay at the villa most days as we just did not want to leave the pool and relaxing atmosphere.The salt water pool is definitely the best one we have had so far. The villa is well equipped and has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and the gardens are well kept.
We would like to give a special thank you to Frédéric who met us on arrival and was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a guided tour and explained how everything worked. It certainly made for a great start to our holiday. A delicious and generous welcome pack was waiting for us on our arrival
too. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We had a lovely week at Mas de Rivailles and would absolutely consider returning.
The photos do not do the house and grounds justice. The property is beautifully presented and is very well-equipped. We enjoyed the morning walk to the local boulangerie over the fields. The pool was lovely and our older teenage daughters enjoyed the games room. We're reluctantly offering a review as we don't want the property to be fully booked for next summer...
Frederic the property manager was very attentive but not intrusive with high quality prompt communication. We would rate Mas de Rivailles 5 stars.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful villa and it truly exceeded
our expectations. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the charm and
spaciousness of this property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home.
The villa is brilliantly laid out, offering plenty of open space, which was perfect for
our family of five. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, making meal
preparation a breeze. Each room was spotless, tidy and provided ample storage
space for all our holiday belongings. The games room was a fantastic bonus,
keeping our children entertained during the occasional rainy day.
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. Our three boys absolutely
loved it and spent hours splashing around. The gentle slope of the pool was
especially helpful for our youngest, who learned to swim during this holiday—an
unforgettable milestone for our family.
We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, which was ideal for both daytime
relaxation and evening games as we watched the sun set. The peaceful
surroundings and stunning views added to the tranquility of our stay.
The villa’s location is perfect for exploring the local area, which offers plenty of
activities to keep a family like ours busy. Whether you’re looking for adventure or
relaxation, this villa is a perfect choice.
Overall, our stay was wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Another lovely holiday spent in this area. The house was all we needed, just as the photos and descriptions had shown. The standard of the house and grounds were fantastic. Often in France the pools may be a little walk away from the house/outdoor living areas but this was a fantastic layout for all to enjoy all day and evening. The pool was the best part, fantastic condition and provided hours of fun for kids and adults alike as did the games room.
The house was very spacious and all facilities/equipment provided were ideal. The little walk into the village across the fields for our morning bread and cakes and the close proximity to Duras and Eymet (the towns we enjoy visiting) meant this was a great location.

The house was very large for our couple but we'e enjoyed the space in the house and around the house. The pool is just perfect with its 16m you can really do a bit of exercise after having had too much food and wines. It was a very relaxing holiday and a nice region to discover.

Thank you for a lovely stay at Mas des Rivailles. Our family of five stayed there for two weeks in August 2023 and we had a great time. It is very spacious and modern, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The pool temperature was perfect and we found the salt-water quite pleasant. The sun loungers and pool set up allowed for relaxing moments poolside and we especially appreciate the very large games room with table tennis, billiards and football table as well as numerous toys for our three children. The bedrooms were clean and fitted with quality sheets and soft towels as well as sufficient storage space for our belongings. The laundry room/pantry was also very helpful for storing food and washing our clothes with ease. Frederic was helpful and attentive as always and made our stay very comfortable, bringing over extra fans when we requested as our stay coincided with a heatwave. The proprietor's family who live on the farm next door were very friendly and helpful and responded to any issues we had. The location of the house is also convenient for exploring the region with many interesting towns and activities a short drive away. We would definitely recommend! Thanks again.

We as a family enjoyed our stay in Mas des Rivailles.
 The house is great, lots of space in the house and even more in the great pool area with different places to sit, either in the sun or in the shade.
The house was very clean and after a long drive, we were welcomed with some food and drinks for the first night.

The property Mas des Rivailles is a super place in a great part of France. One of the best swimming pools we have experienced and the family used it all day every day during our stay. The house is really comfortable with lots of areas where the family could spread out to do some work or just have time on their own. Having three formal eating areas meant we could mix it up where we had lunch and dinner. There are great countryside views from all of the windows and the house is in a very peaceful and serene setting. I must commend Frederic, the local property manager. He was there to greet us when we arrived and lead us through the property and all of the bits and pieces and local knowledge which made the experience so great. He is very solution focussed and solved minor issues in a no nonsense, relaxed and timely fashion. Many thanks for all.
