Holiday cottage with private pool, Maison Menetou.

We had a fantastic 8 days at Maison Menetou. From a warm welcome from Kevin (including a nice bottle of red) on arrival the whole trip was spot on. The house is ideal for families - there were 6 of us and there was more than enough room - it’s comfortably equipped with everything you want. We enjoyed the pool - and the darts in the barn !
Kevin was always on hand to give advice on places to visit or eat. The house is ideally located for trips to the chateaux and local towns. We also visited a few of the local vineyards including Vouvray which makes our favourite Loire wine.
Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Our recent stay at Maison Menetou was very comfortable; such a peaceful and beautiful place. Very much enjoyed the pool and the gardens; plenty of space with privacy! The house was perfect, spacious and was very well equipped and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Maison Menetou for a week in July. The gîte itself is gorgeous, a wonderful building full of character and more than enough room for all 6 of us. There's a lovely pool to cool off and relax in and the surrounding garden full of fruit trees made for a very serene holiday experience. The area is wonderful, a very picturesque slice of the French countryside in a quiet village, but still fairly close to some amazing châteaux and the Beauval Zoo.

We had a lovely few days at Maison Menetou last August. Such a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing break. The owners were amazing hosts and very welcoming. The gîte was spacious, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The outside space and pool area was fantastic, a perfect spot to relax in the sunshine! While we were there we visited ZooParc de Beauval which was a brilliant day out and only a short drive away. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend.

Great location and lovely, cozy gîte! We spent a week at Maison Menetou and absolutely loved it. The gîte was comfortable and full of charm and we loved having a pool for ourselves throughout the stay. We rented a car and were able to visit beautiful spots like Saint Aignan and Valencay. The owners are welcoming and always on hand for any questions. Thanks for making our stay perfect!

We spent a wonderful holiday at Maison Menetou in June 2023. We are returning a little earlier this year to experience the chill-out benefits we loved so much last year.
We were delighted by the warm welcome we received from the owners, who have transformed both the gîte and their home into beautiful residences. The gîte has every comfort and facility any holiday maker might want, including the private pool, the acres of trees and grassed areas, fully equipped modern kitchens, bedrooms and en-suites and the quiet ambience of the immediate surroundings.
For the sightseer, there is a wide variety of châteaux within an hour's drive in light traffic, one of France's most popular zoos some forty minutes away and plenty of medieval villages to examine in detail. There are excellent restaurants and picnic spots nearby and the local wines are of a high quality and available at low prices. For us, the ability to completely chill out was the favourite property of our stay.
We heartily recommend Maison Menetou to any size of family or group.

My wife, daughter and 5 month old grandaughter spent three nights at Maison Menetou. We found the owners to be the most gracious hosts and they could not do enough for us. Maison Menetou suited us perfectly and was very well equipped and very clean, this was important for us given we had a five month old baby with us. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge area. The pool was lovely and was in the sunshine all day, plenty of sun loungers. it was very quiet also. Main large shopping centre was 15/20 minutes away and had a brilliant supermarket. My wife reminded me there was a very good children's clothes shop there also. Nearby were various château's which we visited and were very interesting. I would have no hesitation in recommending Maison Menetou.
