The property has been in the current owner’s family since 1816 and was formerly a large, wine-making domaine. It was rebuilt at the turn of the last century in the style of an Italian, Tuscan villa, together with the extensive outbuildings (wine cave, stables etc) required for the wine making.

The château is situated two minutes drive from the village of Maureilhan, 10 minutes from Béziers, 20 minutes from the Mediterranean coast and almost midway between Carcassonne and Montpellier.

Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.
