Can't believe we have to leave our new home in Najac. The château is magnificent—striking and enormous, yet cozy and welcoming; an easy walk to the lovely village, yet splendidly private and quiet on its own hill. Amazing views, spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and with the best pool we've ever had!
The only thing that matches the château and setting is the warm, attentive and super-knowledgeable welcome and help from Henrietta and her team. They helped us to make the most of our stay. Those extra-mile touches made all the difference and we really appreciated them.
We loved getting to know this part of France, which seems to combine so many of the wonderful things from the more 'discovered' regions, adding a twist or 2, delivered with a smile.

Lovely stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud, such an impressive building and even more fabulous views!!
We made the most of the pool when the sun was out and when cloudy would highly recommend the walk up to the NAjac fortress and kayaking (Saint-Antonin - but more adventurous than Najac!) and the tree tops walk at the river (Najac!).
We had a delicious dinner at Mont le Viaur Hotel (booked by Henrietta - Thank you!). Highly recommend! Hope we visit again one day!

We have had a wonderful week at Château du Pic de Rigaud and enjoyed every minute! The weather has got better and better and we've had perfect days by the pool. The château has been incredibly comfortable and provided everything we needed. We have enjoyed exploring Najac including the Wednesday evening market. Thank you to Henrietta and Peter for all your help and bookings. We will miss this wonderful house and grounds and our morning walks to the Boulangerie. We hope to return.

It is with a heavy heart that this 3-generation family are leaving this wonderful and magical place! We have spent a week here and we all agree that it was not long enough! Where do I begin? The château itself is truly gorgeous and to be lucky enough to stay in one with magnificent views is a dream come true.
We have stayed in many places over the years and can see that a lot of thought has gone into making this such a comfortable holiday place for all, including tiny children. We hope to come back! In the meantime many thanks to Henrietta for all her help pre- and during our stay. She even organised the purchase of a new cot for our 3 year old grandson. Very thoughtful and well beyond the call of duty.

Very sad to leave after a fantastic stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. Fantastic location, amazing historic villages all close by. This is by far the cleanest property we have stayed in over the past 20 years visiting France - thanks to Henrietta and Peter. Pool was also the best we have had - only recommendation is a toilet closer to the pool!! We would love to return some day!

What a wonderful place to stay, house, pool, night skies and boulangerie 5 minutes away. The extended family had such a good time here. In temperatures of nearly 40°C the castle was still cool but so sad to see the effects of the drought / climate emergency everywhere. Birds needed water every day! Deer by the pool, slow worms and much more.

What a gorgeous holiday! The house was perfect for the nine of us, the view is stunning and the pool was fabulous. We were charmed by Najac - the night market and canoeing were a highlight. We would thouroughly recommend the take-away food from the hotel in Najac. Cordes-sur-Ciel and Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val worth a visit. Thank you for looking after us so well, Henrietta!

We absolutely loved our stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. It was the best stay out of our 9 weeks in France. The home is stunning, but it was also immaculately clean. My youngest child is crawling, so I'm more appreciative than ever of a clean home. Honestly though, Henrietta (the house manager) made all the difference! From making a doctors appointment for one child and offering to translate, to baby proofing the house and providing all necessary baby items, we were blown away by her level of service.
