Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is situated in open countryside 13 km / 15 min from Limoux with all shops, café-bars, restaurants and supermarkets.

Saint-Hilaire with bar restaurant and bakery, 4 km.

5 km from the Orthodox monastery of Cantauque, fortified Abbay of Saint-Hilaire.

The town of Limoux dates back to the 14th century. Located on the banks of the Aude river, 25 km to the South of Carcassonne, Limoux is the hub of production of 'Blanquette', a sparkling wine made using the 'méthode champenoise'. A delightful substitute for Champagne at a fraction of the cost.

Don't miss Carcassonne. The fortified citadel is host to a huge range of cafés, bars, restaurants and summer concerts and festivals including medieval jousting and spectacular 'sound and light' shows with fireworks.

Carcassonne airport 30 minutes drive.

Toulouse or Perpignan airport, 1 hour 25 minutes.

Nardia recommended ‘Le Grand Frais’ supermarket at Carcassonne where we were able to buy some wonderful fresh produce on arrival and which saw us through the week. An absolutely fantastic place!
Our week went so incredibly quickly. It is our second time in the Carcassonne area, but still so much to do and see. This time we discovered the Gorges de Galamus and the labyrinths at Nebias. Amazing!
Short treks around the beautiful Villelongue were also so nice. We loved the compost recycling bin at the end of the commune. Very green!
Thanks to Mike for sorting the awning for us on a very windy Sunday.

Beautiful house, beautiful setting and wonderful location!
We’ve had an amazing two weeks here and have loved both days here around the pool and some day trips out - Le Franqui beach, Carcassonne and our boys particularly enjoyed Lac’cro Park and the dinosaur museum at Esperaza.
Thanks to Nathalie and Mike for always being on hand to help and answer any questions and for being so welcoming.

Firstly I'd like to say that we were very lucky to stay in such a beautiful villa, it was really charming ! The house manager Natalie was so kind too in helping us. She was very thoughtful and helpful. The owner was very helpful too when I needed to contact him regarding something Natalie passed on his number to me and said it was fine). They are a lovely family and again we were very lucky to have found the villa with Pure France!
