Highly recommended. The house was very spacious, tidy and even more beautiful than in the photos. There is a large beautiful and enclosed garden and by the pool a nice terrace. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Both we and our 5 dogs had a great vacation. We will definitely go back again!

Spacious and very pleasant house, in a quiet area, close to shops and restaurants . Welcoming and responsive host. Pool clean and so refreshing in hot weather. The village is very pretty and lively in the summer. We'll be back.

The house is great for a large group and the surroundings are really beautiful. The fig and almond trees in the gardens were in full fruit too.
The pool area would benefit from shade such as the awning in the online picture. The weather was very hot while we were there and the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. Take not that the a/c is only in the living area.

We spent 10 days with 8 people (children, grandchildren ) and our dog in À Côté de L'O. The summer heat was well tolerated thanks to the pool and air conditioning. The space is even more generous than it appears on the photos. A huge fenced garden right on the Canal.
Narbonne, Gruissan, Bages... many beautiful experiences are easy to reach by car. The location in beautiful Le Somail. The early morning round for dog bathing at the Cesse. Shopping fresh croissants and baguettes on the Épicerie - boat. All in all : perfect!

We are a family of two adults and three teens and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Le Somail! The house was very well equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space inside and out.
The pool area is very sheltered and private - having the pool to cool us down on the hottest of days was certainly appreciated!
We enjoyed being so close to the canal and seeing the boats sailing past, it’s a beautiful location.
There is a good selection of places to eat and drink within a few minutes walk of the house, yet the house was very peaceful and we were never disturbed by any noise from the restaurant next door.
There were plenty of activities within an easy driving distance to keep us all amused for the duration of our stay including lakes, beaches and shopping.
We hope we can return again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Located in a beautiful environment by the Canal du Midi in a small village full of charm with its small stone bridge, restaurants and this incredible bookstore, this accommodation is perfect. Beautiful bedrooms with their own very spacious bathrooms, a very warm living room with its fireplace, beautiful ceiling height, a well-equipped open kitchen and pretty beams. A nice pool area, a large garden, lovely terrace are also worth highlighting. The hospitality is perfect. I highly recommend it.

The house is pleasant and the host is welcoming. There is space for a large group. It is easy to park in front of the house and there is also an option to park in the garden. Well located, you can buy bread on the houseboat across the bridge and the bookstore is a must!

Very nice stay in a beautiful house. The unit is ideally located by the Canal du Midi.
There are many activities to do in the area (hikes, water sports, tastings, ...).
The hosts are lovely and available. We particularly appreciated the many recommendations for discovering the region.
The accommodation is well decorated, spacious and well-equipped. The pool is large and not overlooked. The bedding is also nice. A big plus is the number of bathrooms that makes it easy for a large group to get organized.
We had a great time in a fantastic setting with a rare value for money. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks again!

The house is beyond what we had imagined with the photos. It is spacious, very spacious, more than ideal for the group of 7 with 2 children that we were.
The renovation is perfect, of exemplary cleanliness and with a very good taste decoration. The pool and its terrace are just beautiful and offered us very pleasant afternoons and evenings. The little plus, is that you can easily close the doors going to the pool for the safety of the little ones and the tranquility of parents. A dining area on another terrace with barbecue and large table also seduced us.
The location of the house is also perfect, along the canal with the small typical village with many very nice restaurants. We really enjoyed the Escale and the glacier adjoining the restaurant...
In short, a great place that we recommend 200%, not to mention the kind and availability of the owners.
