Tourist Tax
Where applicable, Pure France is required to collect and remit local government tourism taxes on behalf of our property owners. These taxes are calculated and collected from guests at the time of booking. Pure France then remits collected taxes to the applicable tax authority on the property owners' behalf.

Location

The property is situated in the in the small village of Raissac-d’Aude, between Narbonne, 15 minutes and Carcassonne, 45 minutes.

Beaches at Narbonne Place, 40 km.

Raissac-d'Aude has a grocery shop.

Canet (2.7 km) has a bakery, butcher, grocery shop, chemist, bar, pizza place, newsagent, petrol station and garage.

Lézignan-Corbières, 10 km, with supermarkets and all amenities including bars and restaurants.

Narbonne with all amenities, hypermarkets, large choice of shops, bars, restaurants, museums.

17 minutes drive to Fontfroide Abbey, founded in 1093. The National Heritage site also hosts Italian terraced gardens and a restaurant. A whole range of wines are produced on site too.

30 minutes drive to Gruissan with its "Betty Blue" stilted beach houses, salt marsh, sandy beaches, bars and restaurants.

Don’t miss Sallèles-d’Aude with the Amphoralis museum, The Gailhousty lock on the Canal du Midi and the Roman oppidums nearby.

The large town of Béziers (40 minutes drive) offers hypermarkets, plenty of shops and restaurants, a huge flower market on Fridays, cathedral with superb views.

Carcassonne with its famous citadel, cultural events, restaurants, hypermarkets etc.

Carcassonne, its citadel and festival, many shops and restaurants, 40 minutes drive.

What an excellent villa in a wonderful setting.
Everything we needed was here and the swimming pool was just right.
As previous comments by others, Cédric is a great host.
We thoroughly recommend a visit to this area and this villa.
Bize-Minervois and Lagrasse were our two favourite places to visit.
If you want to treat yourself to a great restaurant in a great setting, Relais Chantonvent in Minerve - book early.

Cédric, another wonderful holiday in your beautiful villa. We enjoyed it so much, with trips towards Narbonne, the Canal du Midi, Pézenas, Gruissan for the stage 16 of the Tour de France, as well as lots of time in the fantastic pool! you wer a great host, showing us your new wine cellar (I didn't drink all the wine!) and telling us your plans to make the house even better. We have spent a wonderful two weeks hereat Les Hirondelles, such a beautiful house, with everything you could need and Cédric has been so helpful!
We have been out and about, to markets in Narbonne (Sunday), Capestang (Wednesday), swam in the sea at Gruissan Plage, visited abbays at Narbonne, Abbaye Fontfroide - beautiful - and a fab lunch in one restaurant and La Grasse. The bar in Canet is fun, the pizza place does good pizzas (inc. take away) and there are shops. In Raissac, there is bread and croissants at the cooperative in the morning and there is a wine cave in Canet open daily 11 - 12 - fill your plastic container!
We dined at Le Somail, tapas and something nature - both good!
I can't remember anymore but hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did!
