Spent two wonderful vacation weeks with fantastic weather in this villa. Les Bambous is a very nice house and you feel at home straight away welcomed by the most friendly owners. You could tell that it also is a real family home, very well equipped and more cared for compared to a villa just used for rentals. The garden with the pool is beautiful with several different places where you could sit and relax. Really enjoyed the terrace where we had some great BBQ dinners in the evenings. Would highly recommend this villa.
From the moment we arrived to the warm welcome until our final evening, we have loved every second of our stay. Your helpful advice and local knowledge have been invaluable. The house could not be in a better location, fabulous views and only minutes from the bakery. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
We met, as a family of eleven, to celebrate two eighty's birthdays and a twenty sixth at Christmas time in this lovely home,and what a glorious time we had together. Many thanks.
Excellent stay. We had an excellent stay. The house proposed by Malina is fully consistent with the advertisement. It is very well equipped and can easily accommodate 10 people. I recommend this rental.
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely villa. The elegant surroundings of Baleyssagues helped made our holiday here in Duras very relaxing. The hillside settings was the perfect back for to stunning sunsets, sunrises and shooting stars. It was a shame to leave...
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It provided everything we needed for our family reunion of 3 families – fabulous pool, large garden, lots of outside sitting/dining areas, beautiful and spacious interiors, a large and very well equipped kitchen (we loved the ice dispenser!). The children (1-5) loved the nearby lake where they paddled, splashed about and built sandcastles. Plenty of shade and grass and a good restaurant. We had amazingly good weather so were mostly outdoors but if one hit a rainy day, there is plenty of entertainment (great dvd collection) inside. We have had a wonderful week. The pool and garden are wonderful for the kids, whose week was made by a night swim! We have been to the rope climbing, canoeing and night market. The house really does have everything one could need or want. For the adults, the peace and calm and the location is brilliant. Merci!

What a wonderful holiday we have had. We are familiar with the region but La Tourouzelle offers the most amazing place for a holiday: fabulous views to the Pyrénées, a comfortable, well-equipped home and a fantastic pool! There is so much to do here - lovely bastide towns and villes perchées and lots of fêtes and festivals. We have particularly enjoyed the fête at Fanjeaux, the views from the Collégiale at Montréal, a late night walk around la Cité at Carcassonne, the fête du Cassoulet at Castelnaudary and the festival de Pétanque at Limoux. We look forward to another visit.
Very sad to leave after a fantastic stay at Château du Pic de Rigaud. Fantastic location, amazing historic villages all close by. This is by far the cleanest property we have stayed in over the past 20 years visiting France - thanks to Henrietta and Peter.Pool was also the best we have had - only recommendation is a toilet closer to the pool!! We would love to return some day!
A Gem of a House in a Great Location. The Mas Paradou is a gem. It is rare to find a house in the middle of a busy village that is also so private: twenty-foot cedar hedges shield the large garden and the magnificent pool from the road and from the neighbors. The house is charming and full of historical interest. Once the home of the village cartwright (charron), it was restored by the great violinist Alexander Schneider (the music room was formerly the cartwright’s workshop). The current owners have kept many souvenirs of Schneider’s life in the house while installing many upgrades, including a kitchen equipped for serious cooks, Bosch and Viking appliances, air conditioning in one bedroom and a ceiling fan in the other. All the windows and the kitchen doors are screened to keep flies and mosquitos out, which is very unusual in France. The housekeeper speaks some English and turned the house over to us in immaculate shape. The center of the village (less than five minutes away on foot) has an excellent bakery, a butcher shop that sells high quality meats and prepared foods and a small general store that provides most other necessities. Paradou also has a marvelous (and famous) bistrot as well as a couple of other nice restaurants. The neighboring village of Maussane-les-Alpilles has several other very good places to eat at a variety of price points. The owner of the house provided a lot of detailed information about the house, the village and the surrounding area which we appreciated very much. We would be delighted to return for another holiday.
Honeymoon stay, felt like luxury. Self contained apartment attached to a beautiful stone château, in a quiet riverside location, only minutes' walk from the town of Castillon. Approached via a tree lined driveway. Peaceful location. We spent days lounging by the château's heated pool and having our own lunch on the expansive patio area looking over the Dordogne river. The château's owners would provide us with a great continental breakfast each morning on the terrace: pastries from the boulangerie, bread, smoked fish, fruit and yoghurts. They were always available yet never intrusive. Interior was modern yet sympathetic to the stone house, with a great bed and bathroom and full kitchen-living area.
We had a fabulous week at the property and could not have asked for a better venue or a more convivial, friendly and helpful host. It was a pleasure to meet you and I can only stand back and admire your dedication, determination and fortitude in creating your dream property which came through so clearly in our conversation on the final morning before we left. It was a good holiday... enjoyed by all... but without doubt the venue and host were the stars of the show and we are so pleased to have had this opportunity to spend time with you and discover the area. I do hope at some stage we can return, but in the meantime keep in touch and the very best of luck with everything!
We had had this property booked since 2020 to celebrate my 70th birthday together with my son and his family. This was part of a four week French vacation. The property was just as we had hoped. A typical French Château, very roomy filled with antiques. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our every need. It was well equipped and the grounds were delightful. The pool was very much appreciated as the weather was unseasonably hot. We all enjoyed our holiday and would love to return again. Thank you.
We have all had a wonderful week here in your lovely home. You are fabulous hosts making us all feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and you were so generous with the wine, beer, amazing vegetables and of course the Pastis!) The pool is really, really excellent and the garden and scenery are stunning. Rabassie is heaven close by to Limoux at which there is a plethora of things to do; Swimming and tennis, running and boules, and the wicket takes spin if you follow the rules! A holiday so special, it was planned years ago, and we dreamed of the sunshine during last winter's snow. But the reality's far better than anyone thought, it's a place in a million and we wanted for naught. Grandparents, parents and five grandchildren too, we laughed and we played all the day through; but when we were thirsty the beers were imposters lacking the 'nectar of wonderful Fosters'! The house wants for nothing, its completely equipped, the mind boggles as to how it could all have been shipped. The kitchen has everything, including a spurtle, and the only sound heard is the meowing of Myrtle! Despite sporting distractions for all of us folks we were glued to the tele watching Ben Stokes. It is lucky our neighbours were only wild boar 'cos his winning four caused a deafening roar! But all of this fun could not have happened each day had it not been for Natalie and Mike and their way; No problem too great, no trouble too small, with charm and great knowledge they dealt with it all. Merci, merci, merci!

We have had a splendid time here and greatly enjoyed the villa. It was very relaxing and comfortable place with incredible views over the vineyards and hill. We spent a lot of time by the pool but also explored the neighbouring sights - Roquebrun was great fun and we also liked Minerve and managed to get down to the coast at Cabaues-les-Fleury.
In a word - spectacular. Where does one even begin in describing what a wonderful home. In a word - spectacular! We have stayed in approximately 40 homes over the years and few have even come close to the level of excellence we experienced. The house is beautiful inside and out and no detail has been overlooked. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are lovely. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals. The patio, gardens and pool are tranquil and relaxing. As far as cleanliness, the home is absolutely spotless. The pictures are very true to the location but what they lack is the warmth and kindness you will be greeted with when you meet the owners. We highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at Corinne's apartment. It is very clean, had all amenities for daily living, she has thought of everything. Beautiful, peaceful location, amazing balcony to relax on. Full shutters and blinds on all windows and doors for complete privacy. It is a very calm and peaceful place to unwind and short walk to restaurants and right on the beach. Massive supermarket directly opposite which sells everything you could ever need including excellent seafood. Highly recommended.
Perfect romantic getaway. Maison Meunier is set in the beautiful grounds, next to the old mill, overlooking the lake. The cottage is beautifully furnished and has its own patio and pool. The facilities are superb, the grounds are well manicured, lovely for walks and there is a fabulous games room where you can meet up with other guests for a drink and a chat and maybe a game of pool. A stroll into the village to sample the local fair is a must, the villagers made us very welcome. There are a number of local market towns (bastides) and châteaux close by including Monpazier a lively bastide with many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The owners were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do, they couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous holiday.
Vero and Thierry have made this farmhouse a very pleasant house to live in. We loved the different nooks and crannies for relaxing depending on the time of day: Pool house during the day for meals, Moroccan lounge for aperitifs all around a large swimming pool. Everything is functional, clean and nothing is missing. The bedding is of very good quality in all rooms. Boules and darts games, a huge garden. We were a family with children (7 people in total) who were also won over. We highly recommend their house and will definitely be back.
