What to do on holiday in the Hérault

1) Montpellier
Montpellier is a pleasant Mediterranean city to visit because of its centre, but also its various activities, its Gothic cathedral Saint-Pierre de Montpellier, which is distinguished by its conical towers.
You will also find the Fabre museum here, which houses paintings by great French and European masters. Finally, ygreat beaches nearby, such as: at La Grande Motte, Carnon, Palavas les Flots, Aresquiers at Frontignan, or Espiguette (Grau du Roi).
2) Sete
A port city bordered by the Etang de Thau, a saltwater lagoon home to a large number of animal species. You can stroll in the city center of Sète, or walk in the forest of Pierres Blanches. Sète is known for its beaches, its walks but also its green spaces.
You can also attend a jousting tournament in Sète, created in 1666. It is now a very important local annual event in the city.
3) One of the most beautiful villages in France
