The property is located on a single track lane, approx. 5 minutes drive from the small town of Les Arcs, approx 40 minutes from Saint-Tropez and Mediterranean beaches and close to the Verdon National Park.
All amenities in Les Arcs including café bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarket.
Beautiful village of Aups, famous for its olive oil, 30 minutes away. Lac de Sainte-Croix and the spectacular Verdon Gorge less than an hour away. Don't miss a visit to the stunning village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie.
Many picture postcard, typical Provençal villages all around including Châteaudouble, Bargemeon, Callas, Seillans and Callian.
Mediterranean coastline lies less 50 minutes away with a superb choice of lovely beaches; Sainte-Maxime, Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël, Saint-Tropez and Cannes.
Nearby Saint-Tropez is perhaps the most famous beach resort in the world after Brigitte Bardot arrived in 1956 to make the film 'Et Dieu Créa la Femme'. Since then, Saint-Tropez has become synonymous with its celebrity lifestyle and Mediterranean chicness. It certainly is an appealing place; a little fishing village on the Southern shores of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez. The 'Vieux Port', with the old town rising above the Eastern quay is where you'll get the classic Saint-Tropez experience. Choose from many sidewalk cafés to just sit and watch people go by.
The village has a huge choice of shops, cafés, restaurants, picturesque squares, winding streets and beautiful architecture to admire. Lively night-life clubs and cultural events. Several beaches to choose from.
Just outside Saint-Tropez is Port-Grimaud, a charming Provençal town built in the 1960's and based on the layout of Venice; brightly coloured houses stand (and float) on private lagoons and waterways. It is a truly spectacular sight. Perfect for a gentle stroll to admire the architecture and the boats. Lots of cafés and brasserie restaurants. Boat trips leave here for a tour around the bay.
Facing Saint-Tropez across the gulf is Sainte-Maxime, a pretty and traditional Riviera town with long promenade and palm trees. Delightful stretches of Mediterranean beaches with all water sports. No better way to spend an evening than to choose one of the restaurants or bars on the waterside and just watch the boats and the lights out on the bay.
Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël are similar to Sainte-Maxime and offer further shops, markets and restaurants. Fréjus has a Roman amphitheatre and hosts many summer concerts.
« Our third visit in three years, each one has been most enjoyable with family and friends. An ideal centre to explore the area although we have preferred to chill out staying here, taking advantage of the many facilities on offer. Would definitely consider returning and recomending to friends. » Su
« We had a lovely holiday.
Enjoyed the villa, pool and sun. Thanks. » The Schoolings (South Africa and Dublin)
« Amazing villa, pool, weather, location, restaurants... amazing holiday! » The Thompsons (Bournemouth, UK) & the Hermans (Dublin, Ireland)
« Tips from our stay:-
Great fish from Hyper U, lovely wander in Les arcs medieval area, good snorkelling at Ste Maxime beach at Pointe des Sardinaux.
We have had a great stay here and will recommend the villa to others. Our dog enjoyed it too - it was great to have a completely secure garden, making our stay very relaxing. Many thanks. » The Panleys (West Sussex, UK)
« We have had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa. We have spent lots of time in the pool and had many BBQs in the outside pool room. The villa is very spacious and has worked well for our 2 families (with 5 children between us). Would recommend the Creperie in Les Arcs - delicious 'speculoos' crepes'! We also had a wonderful meal at 'Cantina A' at Le Muy and enjoyed wine tasting at St Roseline vineyard. Thank you. » The Andrews family (West Sussex, UK)
« Lovelly villa - equipped with all we needed. Lots of rest days by the pool interspersed with great days out.
Recommended - pedals at the Gorge du Verdon - visit to St Tropez (taking the advice of those staying the week before + arriving by boat!) - day trip to Monaco taking the train is well worth the effort (very helpful staff at Les Arcs Station) - a walk round old Les Arcs is a fascinating couple of hours especially the bones in the museum - anyone interested in History must pay a visit to Chapelle st Rosaline which is just round the corner - you can see the remains of the Saint herself + don't miss the reliquary containing her eyes!!
Cyclists: Recommend riding to Tourtour via Les Arcs. The roads in the areas of the hillside villages are much quieter than heading towards the coast. Ride in the mornings and take loads of fluid!! » The Lowes and Griffins.
« A great house for a great week relaxing in the South of France. Perfect for a group of friends to spend time together and so well located to explore the area.
We would recommend a walk across the vineyard to St Roseline. The best way to arrive in St Tropez is by the boat from Ste Maxime and miss all the traffic. » Richard (Warwickshire, UK)

Les Arc is an interesting place and the medieval village is of particular interest to those who who are interested in historical places. The market in Lorgues on Tuesdays is worth a visit.

« Wonderful villa, great space for two families of four not to get under each other's noses!
Wonderful pool area and the outside shaded BBQ area is to die for!
Table tennis a real bonus!
Strongly recommend visits to Verdon Gorge - we did rafting through Base Nature and had a wonderful time. Lakes also good for a relaxing pedal and swim. Local markets interesting but not worth changing arrangements for specifically.
In all, a fantastic villa and wonderful holiday. » Andrews & Powell families (Surrey, UK)
« Had a fantastic 2 weeks. Great villa for all my family. Facilities amazing!
Wonderful base to visit different parts of Provence.
Enjoyed the surrounding area for walks and runs and had many, many happy hours in and around the pool.

« Our stay was great, the villa was more than expected and made our holiday a great time. » Graham family
« We have had a lovely fortnight at Villa des Maures. We recommend the Tuesday market at Lorgues: a trip to Tourtour, Ampus, Fréjus and the Porquerolles are all worthwhile too.
For cyclists, the Pennafort Gorge and surrounding area is beautiful.
For a quick meal nearby, Les Pinèdes is a good pizza place.
The villa we found very spacious. We have loved lounging around by the pool and generally releving.
We hope to return one day.
Merci beaucoup Alain et Arlette. » Cathy and Nigel
« Villa des Maures is a super spacious villa, which made our week very enjoyable. The villa is well placed to visit various towns of interest. Close to the coastal towns and also near towns such as Grasse. We loved the local markets and all our company (8 adults) really enjoyed our Holiday in Provence. Monsieur and Madame Bernard were very welcoming. » Krista Ellis - Edinburgh
