« I just wanted to send a note of thanks once again. As we and our best friends were celebrating on New Year's Eve, we all looked back on our time at Hilltop farmhouse as not only the highlight of our year, but also the highlight of the 15+ year friendship between our two families. The time we spent simply taking in the beauty of your home and the landscape of the property was the most rejuvenating and centering of our lives. By bringing Hilltop farmhouse back to life and sharing it with families like ours, you have made a positive difference in the world. Thank you, and may 2016 be your best year yet. » Mary-Margaret Zindren
« I just wanted to say that as a family we truly enjoyed our holiday at Hilltop Farmhouse
It was a wonderful week and my husband and I have many many happy memories which were made possible by the house, the setting, the décor, the space, the wildlife and the homely feel you have created. It was a real privilege to be able to stay there for a week.
As we have converted a barn in Hampshire, the photos you have on display bought back memories of our self build. We especially liked the fact you kept true to the original building.
We will certainly recommend Hilltop Farmhouse to our friends and are considering booking another week next year in May. » Hampshire UK
« Have arrived at your beautiful place. A fantastic place and we have stayed in some nice ones over the years. This surpasses most of them by a wide margin !! » Jock
« A short note to thank you for a most wonderful time at your beautiful house in France. As a family we had a wonderful time and my two young children thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The varied wildlife kept my 21month daughter Robyn busy throughout our stay. We hope to return next year! » Hall Family
« We are having a wonderful time. Your house is a complete dream! It is even more beautiful than we imagined! Thank you for the opportunity to experience it. We are now wishing we hadn't made other commitments and that we could stay here for the whole of our Europe trip. » Adrian & Michelle
« Your home is wonderful. All the rooms in the house are beautiful, and the setting is spectacular. Our favorite activity was hanging out on one of the several terraces with a glass of local wine listening to the wind in the trees, the birds, and occasionally, the cows and the rooster down the hill. Also, being able to pick ripe figs and apples for breakfast was an unexpected bonus. We also enjoyed a fantastic meal at Les Marrioners – not only was the food great, but the people running the restaurant were so very nice. Thank you for sharing your home – we will definitely return (hopefully with better French skills). » Patricia Albrecht and Matt Davis
« On behalf of all of us, I am writing to let you know how much your beautiful property has exceeded our expectations. We have enjoyed a lovely evening watching the sun fade away and the moon grow brighter, enjoying the great wine you left for us -- thank you! We're so glad we followed your recommendation and stopped in Lavaur for groceries because it means we will have no reason to leave here to tomorrow - we simply don't want to be anywhere else. » M Zindren
« We arrived safe and well in Bruges after a smooth 10 hour drive in glorious sunshine.
We would like to say once more that we enjoyed the beautiful house, the space and nice decor, not to forget the pool, the garden and the magnificent view. It was a very relaxing holiday. Thank you so much! » Frank, Frie and Iona, Belgium
« Had a beautiful day at the house today. I can't tell you how stunned we are by the beauty of this place. You and yours have done remarkable work with the property and the home... bon nuit... Hello Stephanie, left this morning after such a lovely time. I think you may have repeat visitors on your hands. Was close to heaven when the weather was spotty - can only imagine a week there in the southern France heat. Thank you so much for the care you took in hosting us in your home, counting the days to our return. » Kira, Canada
« We have just returned from our 2 brilliant weeks and wanted to send some feedback for the guestbook. The house and garden are truly beautiful with all the facilities we could possibly need. We were so relaxed that our 2 weeks felt like much longer. My parents joined us for a couple of days and they fell in love with the place too. To step out of the heat of the day into the fabulous swimming pool was terrific, but my favourite time was sitting around the big granite table outside with a bottle of wine in the warm night air looking up at the stars and listening to the tree frogs and crickets chirping. Michel the pool man is a true Frenchman - really charming and interesting to talk to. Marie Jo and Adel the housekeepers are lovely people who invited us for that great French tradition of an aperitif at their house, we had a lot of fun and it gave us a chance to really work on our French and they tested out their English on us. It really gave us a true taste of French life. We would definitely love to return to the property, it was the perfect house in the perfect location and made a truly memorable holiday.
Thank you for everything we had brilliant service from your company and the house was everything and more that you said it would be. » Kitson family
« We had an absolutely wonderful time in this beautiful home. Such a gorgeous house in a truly wonderful setting. One thing we particularly enjoyed doing was watering the many pots during the balmy evenings (glass of rose in hand as recommended) and it was a joy to see them flourish. The garden is stunning and provided many hours of adventure for my two girls aged 7 and 4. I could go on but there are too many wonderful things to fit into one short email and I know others have probably said them before. One thing I particularly appreciated was the collection of cookery books - my selection of holiday reading was almost left untouched in favour of Elizabeth David and regional French cookery! » Davinson family
« We have enjoyed a relaxing holiday in this beautifully restored farmhouse. We were fascinated looking at the photographic record of the extensive renovation programme. The pool particularly was a great hit at the end of a sightseeing day, along with the stunning views and yes, a glass of wine! » The Vickers & Plummer families
« We absolutely adored the property! So sad to leave! It was so beautiful and beautifully equipped & the region as wonderful as we remembered it. The flowers (especially the big patch of lavender), herbs, pool, view, kitchen, rooms, games - all perfect for 3 generations... we would certainly come back again... a majorly memorable fabulous trip. » Katie
« Just a short message now that we have returned home. This an unique house. Everything about it is beautiful. The restoration work out is outstanding. The very high standards and the wonderful atmosphere in the house ensured that we had a memorable holiday from the moment we arrived. » Maria O'Brien
« The house and setting are both absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring the local area. We had a great time and would love to return some time. There are still lots of walks waiting to be tackled when Tom is a bit older. » Paddy Gardiner
