« We had such a wonderful time last year we are looking forward to returning. » Wilson family (UK)
« The pool was fantastic, its bigger than what the photo suggests. The air con was a god send. The grounds and the house were well presented and clean. We were grateful for the change of towels and bed linen. The Mrs Berlier was extremely helpful and very friendly even though our French is absolutely useless. » Thomas family (Lincolnshire, UK)
« Merci aux propriétaires!
The house is wonderful and extremely comfortable for our party of 6. The pool was always immaculate, even with the mistral blowing for part of the week.
We enjoyed visits to Nîmes, Uzès, Avignon, Châteauneuf du Pape and Arles, all within the week.
The Arene at Nîmes is definitely worth a visit and the Palais des Papes at Avignon is fantastic.
We visited Uzès market on Wednesday morning and enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetables.
Wine tasting at Châteauneuf du Pape was a great experience and we ended up buying some fantastic wine for the week.
The boulangerie is fantastic and has everything you would want for breakfast.
We thoroughly enjoyed a meal at Les Amandiers at the end of the road and all tried frog legs and other local specialities. The waiter was fantastic, translated the menu and even adapted a meal for a gluten free.
The owners are very welcoming and accommodating.
Sadly our French was not the best, but every effort was made to ensure they could help us in any way possible! » Rob, Ros, Stewart, Amy, Kirsten & Will (Bristol, UK)
« We had a brilliant holiday. The owners are very friendly and accommodating hosts.
The house is beautiful and the gardens blend very nicely with the house and pool. Our pool experience was highlighted by our four-year old granddaughter learning to swim unaided.
The local sites are all worth a visit, particularly Uzès.
The local supermarket met all our needs and we had some fun conversations with the owner who supported our inadequate French by helping us with her English.
We were relaxed throughout the holiday. thanks in very large part to the owners. Many thanks to you both. » The Thompsons (Sydney, Australia & Shoreham (UK)
« Merci à vous deux.
We have enjoyed two relaxing weeks at Pres du Pont. We recommend canoe collies for kayaking from Collias to the Pont du Gard. Great fun and an amazing view at the end of our journey!
Avignon is a must. Beautiful town with great atmosphere. We ate at the Couscousserie de l'Horloge in Place de l'Horloge. Excellent food with great service.
Haribo Museum was good for the shop. Kids enjoyed that part!
Nîmes is worth a visit to see the Roman Arena.
Our eight-year old loved Carcassonne for the old town and being able to buy another sword and shield.
Poulx itself has too excellent boulangeries. Locals very friendly. We used Liberty Pizza in town centre. Very good. Super U in marguerites had everything we needed.
Have a good holiday here. We did! » Houston (Broughty Ferry, Scotland)
« Our family enjoyed a lovely relaxing holiday. The owners were very helpful. Do visit Arles & Uzès - very interesting. Nîmes was very busy. Great holiday. » Mulhollands (Hampshire, UK)

The weather was excellent, thanks to the mistral which relieved the neatness. Evenings we had some showers and thunder. Our warmest thanks to you. » The Pollaris (Lahti, Finland)
« Enjoyed a really lovely week here. House and pool were amazing and Poulx is a very nice little town.
Spent a great evening at the restaurant just up the road, food was superb and the owner/waiter was very friendly.
Really recommend kayaking down Le Gardon, the scenery is really spectacular and you get to go under the Pont du Gard.

« Près du Pont is a lovely Holiday home and Monsieur & Madame Berlier were welcoming hosts. The villa makes a great base for a touring holiday. We enjoyed great days in the Camargue, Avignon, Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the great trip to the top of Mont Ventoux (highly recommended on a clear day). We are now on leg two of our holiday near Agde. We just hope it matches this week at Le Près du Pont. » Bercksdale family - Buckiningham, UK

« We have had a wonderful two weeks in the beautiful house and really enjoyed the lovely pool. We had a great time exploring the area and visited Nîmes, Arles and Avignon. But highlights had to be the fortified town of Aigues-Mortes and the salt-flats, the Parc ornithologique du Pont de Gau where we got up close to flamingos, the Haribo museum at Uzès, La grotte de la Cocalière and of course the canoeing on le Gardon. With help from Monsieur and Madame Berlier we caught the running of the bulls through Poulx too! Merci to Monsieur & Madame Berlier for helping to improve our French too! » The Donnolly family
