The house sits in a residential area of impressive properties just outside Peymeinade, 10 minutes from Grasse and 20 km from Cannes and its Mediterranean beaches.

There's a lovely lawned garden with olive trees and 3,000 m² of private grounds.

Peymeinade village, 15 minutes walk (3 minutes drive) with restaurants and bars, butchers, fish shop, newsagent, hardware store, chemist, bread shops, post office and banks. For day to day shopping there is 'Intermarché' supermarket about 500m away.

Grasse (10 minutes drive) has all amenities including café bars, restaurants, supermarket, specialist shops etc. Many perfumeries to visit and create your own perfume!

Mediterranean beaches at Cannes, La Napoule, Antibes.

Location

The property is situated in a residential area between Grasse and Peymeinade, 20 km from Cannes and its Mediterranean beaches.

Peymeinade village, 15 minutes walk (3 minutes drive) with restaurants and bars, butchers, fish shop, newsagent, hardware store, chemist, bread shops, post office and banks. For day to day shopping there is 'Intermarché' supermarket about 500 meters away.

Grasse (10 minutes drive) has all amenities including café bars, restaurants, supermarket, specialist shops etc. Many perfumeries to visit and create your own perfume!
The old town ('vieille ville') is large, old and extremely interesting. Tiny streets wind forever between the 17th and 18th century buildings, up and down ancient steps, passing through arched tunnels and sometimes opening out onto large squares.

The principal square near the top of the old town is the Place aux Aires, with a daily market of flowers and regional foods. A pretty, three-tiered fountain splashes in the center of the flowers and arcades line one long side.

It is a 25 minutes drive to Cannes, 40 minutes to Nice airport and about 1½ hours to Monte Carlo, Gorges du Verdon and Saint-Tropez. The nearest beaches are at Cannes, La Napoule or Théoule-sur-Mer, all of which are just over half an hour away. Even in peak summer the roads are not too busy (and a convenient ferry service from Saint-Raphaël is the relaxing way to avoid the bottlenecks associated with Saint-Tropez in summer!).

The surrounding area boasts some of the finest scenery Provence has to offer. The countryside is predominantly wooded hillsides dotted with picturesque, perched villages and interspersed with luxuriant valleys and deep gorges sparkling with fast flowing rivers and crystalline rock pools. The clear waters of nearby Lac de Saint-Cassien are excellent for swimming.
