The restored property has been architect-designed and offers stylised accommodation over two floors with beamed ceilings, floorboards and exposed stone walls. Tastefully furnished throughout with all modern conveniences.

Ground floor; open-plan living and dining area with high, beamed ceiling and Wi-Fi internet. Fully equipped kitchen and cloakroom. First floor with four bedrooms; two family rooms, one with two double and one with three singles. Two further double rooms. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.

3 hectares of private grounds lead to open countryside with excellent and scenic walks. Excellent, uninterrupted views from the house.

Location

The property is situated in open countryside with commanding views over the surrounding fields, hills and woodland.

Nearby towns of Salviac (4 km) and Cazals (7 km) have all amenities including café bars, restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores.

Gourdon and Sarlat-la-Canéda are less than 30 minutes away and offer all shops, further restaurants and cultural events.

Sarlat-la-Canéda is a beautifully picturesque town in the heart of the Dordogne; a charming and busy traditional town with all amenities which is the capital of Périgord. Many good restaurants and cafés to discover. Excellent market on Saturday.

Hot air ballooning, various local companies. Micro-lite air craft and light aircraft flights available from Sarlat - Domme aerodrome.

Paintball, very good site near La Roque-Gageac. La Roque-Gageac is a stunningly beautiful village under the towering cliffs. The village regularly wins France's 'Prettiest Village' competition. Good canoeing centre here.

Competing with La Roque-Gageac in the prettiness stakes is the village of Carennac. Elevated just above the South bank of the river, it is best known for its typical Quercy architecture and Romanesque priory. Further Romanesque art at the Saint-Pierre church in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne.

Perhaps the most famous of the Dordogne tourist attractions are the cave paintings around Les Eyzies. There are more pre-historic caves in this area than you could ever visit in a day!

Nice and clean house in a very quiet area. Each room has a bathroom, so it's perfect for several families.
Beautiful and large fenced pool, ideal for children. The picnic table under the trees is great when it's hot.
I would recommend the house to everyone.

Fantastic spacious house (in m² as well as in m3) with a well thought out design interior. The garden is an estate with the occasional deer.

Un séjour très reposant. Une superbe région. Des visites à nous couper le souffle. Le gouffre de Padirac excellent...
Grotte de Lascaux, Sarlat, Rocamadour, Le Rocher des Aigles. Le Labyrinthe du Bugue. Tout était parfait.
